Criminal judges dictate prisons for three subjects involved in the crime of theft and possession of firearms
On the weekend, they entered in Deprivation of Liberty Center of the Zone 8, three individuals who were detained by police officers of the Southern District, for the alleged crimes of assault and robbery. Those now prosecuted were apprehended by two firearms, which were used to commit their crimes.
In his order the Abg. Hermes Pedro Jimenez Pintado, judge of the Criminal Judicial Unit with jurisdiction in flagrant crimes of Guayaquil, ordered the preventive detention and the initiation of the fiscal investigation against José Ramon G.G., a subject who records 8 arrests for the crimes of theft, possession of weapons and substances subject to control.
José Ramón G.G., was arrested in flagrante delicto by police personnel of the Southern District, in the Aracely Gilbert streets, between the 11 diagonal 53. The judge within the ruling summoned the procedural parties to the hearing of direct judgment for January 17 at 14:00, a judicial act that will be held in Albán Borja, for the purpose of ruling the legal situation.
In the second hearing that was installed against Erick Nelson A. H., and Luigi Alexander L.M., who were arrested in the cooperative Proletarios Sin Tierra, Mz. 35 popular sector known as El Mosquito, the judge of the Criminal Judicial Unit with Competence in Flagrant Offence of Guayaquil, Abg. Hermes Jiménez, gave them preventive detention and the beginning of the fiscal instruction.
The subjects are accused of the crime of theft and illegal possession of a firearm. As in the first case, the criminal judge summoned the procedural parties for January 17 at 4:00 pm, to the direct trial hearing in accordance with the second paragraph of Article 189 of the Organic Code of Criminal Integration (COIP).
The defendants are being held in the Zone 8 Deprivation of Liberty Center if they are found guilty of the crime of illegal possession of firearms, they could receive a sentence of deprivation of liberty for five to seven years. (Oswaldo Trujillo, P. DNCE, Zona 8)
