The police command of Zone 8, reported that on Sunday afternoon agents of the Directorate General of Intelligence (DGI), have raided a warehouse located at Km 7.5 of the road to Daule and seized products of a vegetable and animal nature that allegedly Have been smuggled into Peru.
Police intelligence by agents of the DGI, took them to the warehouse located in the Gallegos Lara cooperative, where they managed to seize in the middle of the operation called “Merca”, 115 bags with chemical substances to pack them as natural medicine, 184 cans of sardines, 288 cans of tuna and several labels of the canned products that did not have the corresponding sanitary permits and controls.
A citizen complaint alerted the agents of the DGI, that in a warehouse located on Av. 12 of the citadel Gallegos Lara, at the height of Km 7.5 of the road to Daule, merchandise of dubious origin was stored. It was also indicated that the warehouse was labeled expired products and of dubious origin.
To verify the information, we reached the warehouses that were guarded by Bolivar J. P., who facilitated the entry of the agents that had the collaboration of personnel of the urban service of the North District.
Among the evidences found which are located in the warehouses of the Judicial Police, there are more than the above described several labels of the products canned with the logo “Marejada de Sabor” and “Isabel”.
In the police action was captured Bolivar J. P, custodian of the cellar and transferred to the Flagrancia Unit where the prosecutor ordered to prepare the part for flagrante delicto (Trujillo, O. Reyes, DNCE, Zone 8).
